ROXY
The Original Mother Pugger
The true Alpha of our grumble, Roxy always kept the four legged members of our family in line. She was the most faithful, loyal dog anyone could ask for. Sweet old Roxy left us to cross the Rainbow Bridge in February of 2020. She was our first pug and the reason we wanted to start sharing our love of this amazing breed with the world. Our kids grew up with her and she was my best friend. We miss her every day.
PEPPER
The Crazy Mother Pugger
Pepper is our smallest adult pug. Actually, she is the smallest adult pug we have ever seen. When she is not expecting or nursing, she weighs just under 11 pounds. Pepper tried to step into the Alpha role when Roxy passed, but where Roxy sounded like a corrective mother, Pepper sounds like a neurotic sister. She gets this wild look and tries to act tough, but none of the other adult dogs pay her any mind, they just wait for her to stop acting crazy.....As much as she tries to boss the grumble around, she is super sweet to people and very mild mannered and patient with our kids.
Pepper just had her third litter in July of 2021 and although she handles the pregnancy and delivery like a champ, and has never needed a C-section, we just feel like it is taking a toll on her tiny little body. Therefore, Pepper is getting spayed on September 9, 2021 and will no longer be having puppies. Those who were lucky enough to have one of her 19 babies join your family, enjoy!!

CHEETO
The Suave Mother Pugger
Before we adopted Cheeto (Also known as Shio- pronounced she-oh, depending on who you ask in the house), we didn't even know pure white pugs were a thing. My great-grandma had pugs when I went to her house as a child, and they were only black or fawn, and I have always had fawn pugs. I took Cheeto home from a bad situation and told my husband that I would love him even if he was part Frenchie. But, as a DNA test has since proven, sweet Cheeto is 100% pug. He loves everyone, and the ladies love him!!

BEAU
The Sweetest Mother Pugger
Beau is son to Pepper and Cheeto and brother to Bear. He is the absolute sweetest dog on the face of the planet. There is not a mean bone in his body. Sometimes, the other dogs take advantage of this and steal his food, treats or toys, but we are working on that!Beau is not part of our breeding program, but is an integral part of our grumble. ❤️

BEAR
The Bada** Mother Pugger
Bear is also the son of Pepper and Cheeto and the brother to Beau. He is our oldest daughter's baby, which I guess makes Bear our sort of Grandpuggy. He comes to visit at least once a week with our daughter who is in college and living close by. He is a bit of a bully to his brother and likes to think he is a tough guy. But, I have seen how he is with his human when he thinks no one else is around.....he is actually just a little teddy bear. You know the type.Although Bear is not a part of our breeding program, he is still very much a part of our grumble ❤️
PHOEBE
The Sassy Mother Pugger
Phoebe has such a huge personality, we couldn't imagine the grumble without her. As for her name, the first time we met Phoebe, I picked her up and she wiggled exactly like the pug puppy Phoebe Buffay holds in an episode of Friends. She is a silly girl with a heart of gold.

BAILEY
The Cute Mother Pugger
Bailey is on the smaller end, but don't let her size fool you. She has no problem sticking up for herself or keeping up with the antics of the bigger pugs in the grumble. Up to this point our grumble has consisted of fawns and the white Cheeto, and we can't wait to see what Bailey contributes to the grumble with her first litter towards the end of the year.

PENNY
The Happiest Mother Pugger
Penny is the embodiment of the phrase “fat and happy”. She is a ball of rolls and smiles and endless fun and energy. Penny loves everyone, and is especially crazy about her human!

DEAN
The Silver Mother Pugger
Dean is the new man on campus. He is just finding his footing in the grumble and is great fun. We brought him home to be our son’s baby and to add his beautiful coloring to the gene pool of future litters.

ELSA
The Baby Mother Pugger
Elsa is our new baby. We can’t wait to watch our little snowball grow up and have little snowballs of her own with our very own beloved Cheeto. So far, Elsa is sweet and playful and fitting in perfectly with her new grumble ❄️💕

SCOUT
Honorary Mother Pugger - Grumpy Old Man
Scout is an English Springer Spaniel. For awhile, he and Roxy were the only dogs in the family. Scout usually either follows his human everywhere or just lays in his favorite spot on the end of the couch. He loves to play fetch and is a trained service dog and hunting dog. At this point in life though, he mostly just hunts tennis balls.

BLU
Honorary Mother Pugger - The Dog Father
Blu is an American Bulldog/ Pitbull mix. He weighs about 110 lbs, but still tries to sit on everyones lap. Even small children. He has great intentions, he just doesn't realize how big he is. Blu was trained in pressure therapy techniques to assist the two veterans who own him with our PTSD-related anxiety. He had to retire from service dog related duties after he was injured by a horse and now he just tries to help everyone feel less anxious. It's really sweet, if you think about it. Blu sometimes gets overwhelmed by the litters of puppies and so, I had to make one of the hardest choices and let him go and live with one of his favorite people- our dog sitter and close friend, Hailey. He loves her and was always trying to leave with her. So, now I only get visitation of my big oaf. But, I love him just as much as ever.

MUFFIN
Honorary Mother Pugger - The Princess
Muffin. What can I say? She is exactly what you think an adorable 3 pound chihuahua would be. Spoiled rotten. Muffin joined us in 2017. She was supposed to be my baby since I had uterine cancer that year and was sad at the prospect of not ever having a baby again. Muffin had other plans. She bonded with my husband from the very beginning. She is his dog. My 6'2" bald, bearded, tattooed, Army veteran husband. Muffin is HIS baby.
